la lumière: a european inspired series

when in Europe I decided I would try something different... i figure, where else is better to make a change - step out of boundaries, conformity, comfort - especially artistically.

over the 3 weeks I started to do random "long exposures"... this turned into an absolute addiction and way of creative expression I had never really considered. often one considers a photo like this a bad photo - when you take it and everything's moving, blurry, and indistinguishable. for me it was like an abstract painting almost; a combination of shapes, colors, lines and lights... shots from some of the most amazing and beautiful places in the world, from the streets to atop one of the most famous towers ever constructed.

what i like most is everyone can see these photos, yet interpret them in a different way. from feeling, to meaning, to location. of course I know what the photos consist of - but what do you see...
